Instructions
  1. Sprinkle each side of chicken with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper
  2. In a large skillet over medium high heat, melt butter with olive oil.
  3. Add onion and garlic and saute for about 2 minutes
  4. Saute for about 2-3 minutes on each side until nicely browned
  5. Transfer contents of pan to slow cooker
  6. Add chicken broth
  7. Cover and cook on low for 5-7 hours or high for 3-4
  8. Remove chicken and cover to keep warm
  9. Add cream, mustard and lemon juice to slow cooker and whisk
  10. To thicken sauce pour into small saucepan and whisk in 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  11. Bring to a boil for 2-3 minutes until thickened to desired consistency
  12. Add additional salt and pepper to taste
  13. Pour over chicken and serve

Italian Seasoning can be made with garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, oregano, basil
